Writing's strange
Sometimes there is
No mood to write
Maybe it's natural.

Pen does not move
Ideas don't flow
One reaches a dead end
Called the writer's block.

It happens to even
Well known writers
One must prevail over
Such a state of mind.

Monotone activity
Day to day pressures
And unexpected events
May bring in such a state.

When it happens, relax
Spend time with nature
Spend time with friends
It's no time to worry.

Mind travels in many
Directions without focus
Keep a small notebook
And jot down all ideas.

Written words have no
Coherent logic at all
But viewed at a later stage
Provide a rich resource.

To write a line's better
Than not writing at all
Well begun's half done's
A good dictum to follow.

Overcome the so called block
Let it not continue long
Do all you can to pass it
And gather new inspiration.

Thanks for your words of advice to the poets who experience a blockage. 'Monotone activity Day to day pressures And unexpected events May bring in such a state.' - You have diagnosed the disease correctly. 'When it happens, relax Spend time with nature Spend time with friends It's no time to worry.' - And this is the right prescription for the cure.
