Contentment Poem by Katherine Perry

Contentment

Rating: 4.5

Contentment cannot be found
In computers and video games
Those bring frustration with too much
sound
It was much calmer before those things
came

Contentment is found in the little things
Like the smile on a baby's face
Like catching frogs and the first signs of
spring
And roasting marshmellows in the fireplace

Contentment can be found in a home cooked
meal
When familys sit down together to eat
To laugh and talk and say what they feel
Instead of hanging out on the street

Contentment comes from the gifts of God
and whats real
Not from all the luxuries that money brings
It's who we are and everything we feel
That brings contentment in the little things!
