Everything is forgotten
And laid aside
For one brief moment
No thoughts
No words
No motion
No-thing
Peacefulness of moment
Nothing comparable

We have all experienced
This time of tranquility
But so very many
Have chosen to forget

They choose to live
Not for the now
Frozen in yesterday
Propelling tomorrow

Give up your sorrows
And expectations
And be receptive
To that which is now

And life will flow
Much more freely
