Constant Endeavor Results In Harmony! Poem by Dr.V.K. Kanniappan

If a question of how far a person can aspire
arises in the mind of an enthusiastic person,
There is no limit; More effort results in ascent!

There is a story behind it
for a better understanding to
everybody who likes to aspire!

While a wood cutter
was proceeding Into the forest,
he happened to meet a saint!

When he wished him, falling
at his feet, praying for his blessings,
the saint blessed him, “Proceed further”

Impressed by his words,
the wood cutter proceeded further
than the usual distance he goes ever!

He was fortunate to find sandal wood trees there,
He fell those trees more and more,
And became richer than before!

After a few days, while he was going into the forest,
He recollected the words of the saint 'Proceed further'
He did so a few more miles to find silver mine!

More and more richer he became
and followed saint’s word every time,
This time he discovered Gold mine!

As he proceeded further and further,
He became richest man in the country,
Constant endeavor results in harmony!
