Confusion Poem by Len Maonio

Confusion

I thought of things behind every suffering I had,
I said, “Once in my life I will prove them wrong.”
They kept on saying you’re the wrong one for me
But how can it be when they did not give it a chance?
They judged you very unjustly
And it did hurt whenever they name you things
It’s a sting on my ears hearing the words that I’m wrong.
Time passed by and still I have you
Things sometimes went out not the way we want,
Still we survived in our own little way
But on the way of our journey in life I’m sorry I somehow changed,
Things not going out right and me myself can’t believe it,
I left you without giving you a chance to ask why,
But don’t say that I love you no more,
I loved you all my life
Though things may change in every way
Time may come
And we will meet again.
