Confusion Poem by Marigold Baylon

Confusion

Walking in a meadow not knowing what to do
I grasped a butterfly and bid it adieu
Enjoying the summer sun
Dancing gracefully to someone's hum

I see you beside me
hand in hand we flee
Talking about the roses
And sharing each other's gazes

Then one day I saw you from a distance
A bee's sting woke me up from a trance
Your hand is out of reach
Our lips avoided the speech

Different feeling arose
Love you from a distance I chose
Thinking of you in silence
Blocking me out in a fence

I pray to God above
Show me the right kind of love
Hear me in my desperation
And end this struggle with my confusion
