Confusion Poem by Chel sea

Was it all a waste of time?
Time that I'll never get back
Did I simply waste form life
Life that may take awhile to get back on track?
It's not that i regret what we shared
But I was fooled by actually thinking you cared
Damage's been done
And I have to learn how to move on

But how do i do that, when my heart's still with you
My mind says get over it all
But my heart still wants it all
Pulled in two directions
Heart and mind are playing tug-o-wat
But one's about to fall

Was it all a wasted sham
Shame that really fooled me
Was it always a cheap scam
Scam that blinded so I couldnt see
It's not that i forget what we shared
But it kills to know that you might've not cared
Damage's been done
And I have so sadly move on

When will the day come when I won't care
'Cause I hate living this way
Knowing you'll never be there
Is what I must live with each day
