Confused In Love Poem by Renee Wangwe

Confused In Love

My mind is blank.
So blank, the silence must be an underlying sea of words.
A sea so content and fragile, it must be havoc.
Havoc raised in my thoughts, millennia ago.
Millennia when: I fell for you.

My heart is weak.
So weak, it must only be from the love you lied you felt.
You spoke in confession, it must be the alcohol.
The alcohol in you that kissed my lips.
Kissed me: as you fell for me.
