Improvisation [2] 09 19 2012

CONFUSED GOOD:

Emote the youth of sex pure love
Before the heart submits libido to ego
Confused void to the deep
Fishes grow legs before water dries
From the shallows
Before limb feathers sustain the wing
The good blessings
Be aware synchronicity shares
The good of it
This world's deceptions re-represent
So to speak it is said -how this ancestry
Voids this patriotism
How bitter is shame and
Apology sweetened by initial public
Offerings and bids to tax
Promises to endow sectarian derivative
Consequences -the image imagines truth
Becoming sons of pure humanity virgins
Of trust -there is no apology no
Need to wrap humanity in rebel flags
Oppose the Union Jack or flags of past
Colonial oppressors there is no need for
Symbolism -the Americas are marinating

(Lee B. Mack, Confused Good, Page 2)

Horses retired to low meadows graze
Drones deck the Golden Mean of darkness
Rainbows color contrails with indigo paint
Seasons of mist and rain reappear -strong
Light of fires cook the display of tastes
Over the Bar-B-Q spit out back -the cabin
Near the sharecropper's shack -burnt oil
Smokes waif with the smell of good pork
Fatback and corncob invitations stack
Across the garden up the hill to the cottage
Of family gatherings concoct the paperwork
For freedom of choice to stammer from
Fear of failing to immigrate or dare awareness
Come to life to strike the doors of armories.
