Confidence! Poem by Veeraiyah Subbulakshmi

Confidence!

Rating: 5.0

When you are too rigid, you can be broken,
Please don't tell that I am the reason.
When you are too viscous, you can be the grease,
Spread between two surfaces, in hinges and bolts and nuts,
To get pressed always for the sake of lubricating sacrifice,
Please don't tell me that I am the reason,
For the excruciating pain that you wanted.
When your density is one and you think it is fun,
All the dirt will dissolve in you to make you to stink,
Please don't tell me that I am the reason.
When you are the magnet, you can pull the good Iron,
Leaving all the bad to get neglected to be negligible,
Please do tell that Magnet, YOU, have the confidence.

I may be way off course but i see this primarily as quite sad, as if your feel someone blames you for all the problems... i find this slightly obscure (which is after all the writers right) but too me it seems you know you are a good soul and given half a chance you could happily show the way... i do hope i am right....one to ponder....tyvm karen

When we are too rigid and trying to do the things irrationally, thinking that we are doing with confidence, what ever we do, will not materialize, so we can't blame the blind confidence as the reason, but we have to readjust ourselves to be flexible to sort out the problem. Having this concept in mind, readers may enjoy this poem.
