Computers Poem by brian sazo

Computers

Computers
The sound of it starting up is a wonder
I stand by to hear the noise similar to a jackhammer
And so I patiently wait for the home screen.
The excitement I feel when it’s turned on is nothing compared to anything else. Is like I am connected to it.
While I wait I like to fidget around
With the keyboard and mouse.
My keyboard is special
Because it is wireless.
I like the feeling between my fingers
When I’m touching it.

My computer was what I depended on
When I began a project
For a class I really enjoyed.
I commenced by coming up with the idea of an infomercial about buttons.
But it didn’t seem right to me
I expanded the idea and I ended up with Fashionable Buttons.
By the end and the finalization of the project
I felt accomplished because I used most of my time
Invested working on my computer.
