Compounded Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Compounded

Suffering
Compounded be when
The sufferer to joy
Pretends and feigns.

The heart seeps
Blood
The Soul yearns
Crushed.

Yet the sufferer
Goes out in to the
Streets and gardens
And squares
To the people speaks
And smiles
And sings.
