Complicated Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Complicated

why are you texting my phone
looking for my opinion
you say you don't want to be just friends
four years is quite a long, long time
now you really don't know what to do
After you had your very last fight
still if nothing has changed
you know he won't remain
he only wants to be happy

try and work it out yea, yea
Don't think you know the truth
because I straight lied to you
If he wants to leave then he will leave
and then he'll receive, love elsewhere

I mean, if you ain't getting drunk
or, if you two ain't getting drunk
and you fighting afterwards, it ain't a excuse
I think he deserves someone much better
than you, so the night after you fought
He had made out with me
the feelings between us is strong
There is a chemistry
and when it hits the fan
things will not go pretty
because both of you are my friends
it's going get real ugly

I mean, I want to love him, and when he's left you
I will love him, that day, you know
I mean, you ain't got to understand
where i'm coming from

Hard to live in a complicated love affair....three hearts in trouble and hurt! Better have love and lost...better ones will come on time!
