Compassion And Wisdom Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Compassion And Wisdom

Rating: 5.0

What is limit to desire?
Why can't we put it on fire?
Burn it and turn into ashes
If that threatens us to finish

Why do we wish freedom?
And deny it to some
Even cage the birds
Kill others with deceptive words

We talk of high ideal
But live world of unreal
We feel bad at maltreatment
But do not react when offer same at present

We are opportunists
Always insist
For betterment
But take no decision and remain absent

Freedom is always desire in true sense
Leave nothing behind to feel tense
God has granted us full freedom
There lies compassion and wisdom
