Tradition now, it's the fourth Spring
Of the annual beauty and smiles creation
Community people of Sapporo, together are working
With colourful flowers, in soulful elation.


Hard sweaty work, of a Junior High School child,
house wives, all kind of teachers,
Asahikawa workers, and elders living nearby
An interactive action of ninety volunteers.


All of them kneeled along the sides of 3 km road
To plant eleven thousand sunflowers, impatience, red
or blue salvia, let's not forget the gorgeous marigold
Tokiwa&Ishiyama sparkle a new colourful flower bed.
