Comfort In Believing Poem by Mike Kosman

Comfort In Believing

In the darkest hour of morning
At the coldest time of day
Down a never ending highway
I set out on my way
Snowflakes flurry through the darkness
And I'm feeling so alone
So lost and so forgotten
And so long away from home

Now the sun on the horizon
As the night becomes the day
Through my mind there runs a memory
Of someone so far away
In the crimson glow of dawn
I can see her smiling eyes
And I take comfort in believing
That her love will never die
