Come To The Water To Drink Poem by robyn nathan

Come To The Water To Drink

Love is patient and kind
We both come to the water to drink
winter is coming
the reeds grow like a blanket to wrap you in
its a deeper intense doorway
everything will show colour
store whats needed for the next changing

its cooler
softer
internal lushness
with moments sun kissed to be warmed
A silence never sleeping
enough stillness to feel you
and let my spirit sit with you
among you
no less
no less
to disappear
I am
