Come The Season Poem by Steve Gregory

Come The Season

The sun is shining
And the world around you
Is a happy place;
The population laughs
As the summer wind
Tugs their uncovered hair:
Windows in the High Street
Are smiling in the glare
Yes, the world around you
Is a happy place!

There comes a season
When everything seems right;
All the worlds creatures
Have stopped their needless fight!

Everyone in the city
Is smiling at the world,
Friend is greeting enemy
In a love for all mankind!
Christ has healed
Creations wounds by
His death on the tree;
The greatest deed of love
That anyone can see,
Jesus died for you and me!

Yes, there comes a season
When the world stops the fight,
Everything is peaceful now,
No running in the night!

In His resurrection
Creation is born again,
In your heart the sun shines
No saddening pouring rain!
It may sound like a dream,
But you know, like I do,
That satan's out of schemes;
Jesus Christ has conquered
The world He made is His.
Let us all turn to the Son!

There comes a season
When Jesus is the Lord;
Satan has been deposed,
Christ reigns unopposed!

Yes, this is the season
The battle is finally won;
The population of the world
Is following the Son!
