Come Out Of The Thicket Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Come Out Of The Thicket

Come out of the thicket
That twines your
Thoughts
Wires of flashing
Electricity
Thoughts
Deep too deep for
Trembling
Fears and deliriums
You will need a long walk O!
To reach the borders.

Beyond
The waters wait still and
Austere.

Thought weighs upon the waters
As rain-laden clouds
Before the tempest-storm
Breaks forth this night.
