Come On Day Poem by stephen day dolan

Come On Day

I've woken to a cold and miserable day,
with lead in my feet i drag myself out of bed,
and shout
COME ON DAY, LETS ENJOY WHAT MAY.

With a smile and warmth in my heart,
that no miserable weather can part,
a resolve so true im not turning blue.
smiling as i head into this new days adventure,
with this positive intension im sure it will relieve any possible tension,
i shout again

COME ON DAY LETS ENJOY WHAT MAY.
