Come And Dine With Me Poem by Tony Adah

Come And Dine With Me

Come let us
Have a meal
Made with words
And served on poemhunter
Sweets words
That tell of nature, life and death
And of how the world
Ought to be
The chefs
Are down to earth
In their chosen trade
They craft their dishes
Across the continents
And inveigh
Where blame is found
And applaud where
A good deed
Has touched the earth
This is what we ate
Yesterday and we will
Eat today and tomorrow.
