Combinatrix Poem by Demetrius JonesDixon

Combinatrix

I can't sum up life in a matter of words
This matrix's perfectly imperfect mathematics sees to that
But if you want me to just give you something
I'd say; the struggle of life is both beautiful and ugly
And evolution, balance, serenity, searching for knowledge and learning how to always apply knowledge into wisdom
Are what you must find
And don't forget to chase happiness while laughing
The cliché of a beautiful flower growing in the desert and thriving is always true
People have figured out how to get out of End Games
By far, making your first world pains look meaningless

A process of spiritual evolution is painfully beautiful
I take nothing for granted, I appreciate all the little things

I've struggled with my inner-demons for years
Ones of self-doubt, isolation, and rejection
I've successfully conquered all, but isolation
This pale white, sickly looking apparition
All you hear from it is moping and complaining
It knows I'm forever a victim of my thoughts
And loves trying to call me to sit with it
Discuss the past pains and terrible regrets
It knows well enough that I've let go of my past
But it reminds me in a lethargic tone that I cannot live without it
Serving as a constant reminder of what could happen if I don't interact
A healthy stressor, but negative when my fatalism comes into play

A process of spiritual evolution is painfully beautiful
I take nothing for granted, I appreciate all the little things

I'm the, old man sitting on the mountain top
Floating, at one with the energies of the Universe and her children
At one with my physical
And at one with my Higher Self, the spiritual
Often chatting about this matrix's science
Conversing on how Buddha was completely right
Once you let go of the Third
The weight lessens dramatically
The shell lightens
Inner peace is achieved
Waves of euphoria deploy
You listen to your intuition more
The surrounding world is brighter
Food has taste again
Colors are brighter
This is elevation
Ascension to godhood, nearly
The quest for knowledge and wisdom has become a healthy addiction
But still remembering that knowledge is power
And absolute power, corrupts absolutely

A process of spiritual evolution is painfully beautiful
I take nothing for granted, I appreciate all the little things
