Colours Of The Wind - Poem by Littlewing28 PGW

Turning to face a new horizon
A new beehive to settle in
At the helm of a travelling pathway
Through foamy waters of an ocean
New buds forming, uncasing within
Discarding of the form
The Latin sounds twirl in her head
She's, southern bound
Where exotic dancers spin around
Frills of colours, flamenco sounds..
Excited by transition
Free-spirited, rise again
Spreading wings, uncaged,
Free from restraint.

There are so many transitional layers in your poem Esther.I see a newly freed woman on a journey reconnecting with her flamboyant spirit as I simultaneously follow the captivating colours, movement and excitment on the path of the wind.....10 (Report) Reply

Thank you Simone. The last 7 years have been overwhelming, emotional, incredible, really! but from it it, it, growth. You might liken it to a phoenix rising from the ashes..Many changes ahead, aligning with my inner core. Appreciate the 10 ~
