Colors Fade (War) Poem by Magic What'sHerName

Colors Fade (War)

Rating: 5.0

I watch as the colors fade
To black and gray
I watch as little miss queen bee parades
Around like she owns the day
I watch as the love of my life
Takes out his knife
I watch as his blood stains the floor
He has claimed war!
I watch as more men arrive
To see pretty faces no longer alive
I watch as the town goes up in flames
To never remember any names
I watch as they try to fight
To never see the light
I watch as one girl makes a stand
She reaches out with her hand
I watch as she loses an arm
She now has harm!
I watch as someone pulls out a gun
This no longer makes it fun
I watch as before the sun rises
The town switches sizes
I watch as I'm the only one left here
That damn enemy has me with tears!

*(A poem about war, A poem rotten to the core, A poem with bleeding on the floor, A poem that's never been written before) *
