Colors By Sudhir Choudhrie Poem by Sudhir Choudhrie

Colors By Sudhir Choudhrie

Rating: 3.0

Vibrant all the colors
Across the morning sky
Beautiful the rainbow
That quickly passes by

A covenant of colors
Colors we can’t name
They all tell a story
Meanings not the same

Coloring our emotions
How we feel inside
Fire red with anger
Purple blue our pride

Black the color of sin
The dark pits of hell
The unrepentant heart
Where fallen angels fell

Many love this color
Living their life in gray
Committed only to self
Not living what they say

Life is always green
The love of money too
Hearts green with envy
What shade of green are you?

Our beautiful blue sky
A color happy and light
Blue is a soul that’s sad
Heavy, dark; contrite

On the cross of Calvary
Blood flowed crimson red
Shed there for everyone
Just as the prophets said

Beauty of pure white
Color of a saved soul
Washed in His red blood
Forgiven and made whole

Colors in all our lives
Colors in God’s word
Color our life’s story
In a way never
Before heard
