Color Poem by Josh Alfred

Color

Brown is the soil
When you feel it
In your hands.

Silver is a shining color,
That is silk and sensitive -
Cold as all metal.

Blue is the sky,
When you feel its warmth
On your face.

Black is space,
Which bubbles with stars
Immersed in greater darkness.

Red is the flame of love,
Which ignites in a lover's kisses
And shines in days walking together.
