Collateral Damage Poem by Ibnu Din Assingkiri

Collateral Damage

Rating: 5.0

Demon-stration for democracy
Bounded alliance vs. free alliance
Are risking their hatred.

Peace is stagnant. Let strike
War in the streets of the city
Places of business and work.

'Collateral damage' should be okay
By intention. Lawful all the way
- Who are the victims?

Who was partying-feast?
After the democracy is formed
By the mould of demon-stration.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Street demonstration are not the answer to all problems. It can be sure to chase away all big investors from our own country and one day will rise unemployment rate...is this our legacy to our future generation?
