Coldness Poem by Regan Roberts

Coldness

It's cold and so am I
Neither of us know another way
The world keeps racing on by
As we grow colder every day
I hate you like everyone
Did you think you was something else?
I take you like everyone
Just someone new in this Hell
You irritate me so I retreat
To my mind where no one sings
Where there's no winning but no defeat
No twisted good and evil things
If I step out it may suprise you
But I see all that you see
I even hear what you hear too
Only thing being that it repulses me
Even though I do always search
Maybe, maybe there's something out there
Something that could be of your worth
Like saying that I really do care
