Coins From Heaven Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Coins From Heaven

Rating: 5.0

Coins from heaven,
Their heavenly glint.
Gold coins shining in the blue sky.
Were these meant for me, I cried?

But it issued a warning,
The sky above,
And warned they were for everyone.
I super sighed.

Then heaven itself spoke.
It told me, the coins would be,
For the ones who deserved them.
So I chose everyone on this Earth.

Reminds me of Pennies From Heaven....The coin as metaphor for security, well-being, belonging, and even self-esteem. This is a wonderful poem...
