Clouds Poem by Morhardt Carmen Mencita Monoi Angel

Clouds

Clouds

Atop the iced mountains
Reaching up to the clouds
To hold them still

Dark lady river bed refletes
layers of blue and grey clouds

Fluffs of cotton misty white
Like a river of silky silver hair

Vanish into night sky
In a soundless pitch cry

Day sky full of endless shapes
There lies a woman in veil

Heavy clouds of rain
Streams of earthly pains

Sky seems to shiver
As pours water like a river

Falling drops red as blood
Catched up in a huge hood

It’s the ocean of human tears
Which are so hard to bear

As all their magic dreams
Vanish within a tragic beam

Atop the iced mountains
Reaching up to the clouds
to hold them still

in vain forever
