Closure Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Closure

Cleansed like a living urn
I've been filled with pain
Sorrow can be a sea of hostility
I am released with strange tears

The Spirit comes on me like love
Dead people who need forgiveness
Letting go of musings that are circles
Birth in these old bones

Streams pour around the hospital bed
Snow is melting
Mindsets of false identity
Exposed by dreams

War is such an individual temple
Time takes away my brother
Those that are gone visit
Closure is unpredictable
