I am called Cleo, the sand cat,
Purring at the Lincoln Park Zoo,
In the Small Mammal habitat,
Prob'ly napping - that's what I do.
I have the look of a house pet,
A wee whiskered dainty fur ball.
But my bite force is strongest yet,
Of my relative felines all.
African deserts are my home.
My paws are padded extra strong,
Cuz there are many miles to roam
To hunt for prey the whole night long.
Of regal bearing - that's my style.
I am a queen - there's no denial.
