Clear Night Poem by Miki Byrne

Clear Night

Clear Night.

Pinpricks in a velvet sky,
Crystal bright and towering.
Above our tiny box-like homes
That crouch fixed and cowering.

Such vastness in this dome above
Enclosing us and all we are.
So insignificant are we
Enveloped in our cape of stars.
