Cities Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Cities

Cities

Having been in them long
-the cities I don't like
-though except
-Toronto

A reason, example
-drive west on Finch
-from Warden to Jane
-encounter half of world
-Asia sits in east; Carib west
-city is a kitchen has many spices
-as if is a magic with greatest canvas
-on it sit the colours enveloped no border
-poverty, enrichment, innocence and crimes
-all of them are gathered hand in hand united.

Toronto
-doubtlessly can be an exception
-we can live, also leave
-yet enjoy
