Cinderella Poem by Marion Perrotta

Cinderella

Cinderella

What ever made you run from me?
Did I scare you with my anger or my lust?
You know that I am here for you
and all I need is trust.

Don’t say the words, don’t make a move.
Don’t turn and walk away
from me and mine and all we’ve spent,
cause baby there will come a day
that you will wonder
where I went?

And you will look but you won’t find
the girl who fits the shoe,
that hit your head beside the bed,
while screaming “I love you! ”
