Christmas Wish... Poem by Jay AndersonTaylor

Christmas Wish...

Oh how I wish snow would just start falling

out of the sky early this year and I also

wish I could see a rain deer or two.

This is my Christmas wish... I

hope that there is a shiny new fire truck

under my tree? This is my Christmas wish...

I do wish my dad would buy

us a blue spruce Christmas tree? But I guess, a old

pine tree do. This is my

Christmas wish... and can you

please remember to bring my cousin Bruce home

in time for a hot Christmas dinner, I know

Uncle Sam needs him, but his mom and the family needs him too.

This is my Christmas wish...Dear, God

I now I'm asking for a lot? But can I also have mistletoe too?

You see it’s not for me, I'm way to young for that as you can see.

It’s just for my mom and dad, so they will kiss

and make up, instead of arguing about who gets

to keep me this year. Two Christmas’s are nice, but one would do.

This is my Christmas wish... thank you!
