Christmas Love Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Christmas Love

I see all of the gifts before me
and even-though they bring delight to many
Nothing in this world brings me the kind of joy
as when you're looking into my eyes the way you do

there upon the fire place I sit in your embrace
this is what Christmas should feel like
Receiving love and given it back in return
Not many know of this or have yet learned

The Christmas tree with all the lights
Reminds me of how my heart is glowing
Placed so much joy into my world
Where it only start to begin showing

it's Christmas all the time
every hour of every minute
Your love is my only wish
and I wish to not spend it
no other way but with you
