Christmas Lights Poem by Daphne Grant

Christmas Lights

Rating: 1.5

Across the gulf of gardens
Your Christmas lights are clear.
Blinking on and off they
Bring a message of good cheer.

And through the trees in silhouette,
Against an evening sky
I see you aim to please,
And cheer the passers by.

And gladdened by your Bon amee
remember how to laugh
And remember Christmas
Of the distant past.
