Christmas Dinner Poem by Marilyn Lott

Christmas Dinner

Rating: 3.0

There is nothing quite like Christmas dinner
When it is shared with folks that we enjoy
After Santa Clause has done his best
And all the children are playing with toys

Everyone feels especially good, of course
It’s a wonderful time of the year
Everything bright and happy too
Our lives are filled with gladness and cheer

Dinner especially tastes so good
When our friends are at the table
We stuff ourselves with delicious food
Then leave the table if we are able

And when we are served by the very best
We have an extra reason to be happy
They are very good at what they do
Get the food on the table so snappy

I hope you too will have a wonderful time
At Christmas dinner this year, my friend
While spending time with those you love
And waiting for a brand New Year to begin!
