Christmas Poem by Franchesca Onken

Christmas

It only comes once a year
The girls all go shopping, and the guys drink beer
The weather gets cold, but where is the snow?
All the shops are shut, and theres nowhere to go
Unwanted pressants, a totaly waste of cash
Whats for christmas dinner? Banngers and mash
Boring old films, on your TV screen
Too much wrapping paper, the floor can bearly be seen
But christmas should be fun, its about family being near
And lets not forget, christmas is the most wonderful time of the year
