Christmas lights a glowing
Laden shoppers to-ing and fro-ing
Mad panic on the streets
as present lists and shops meet.
The Dvd for Uncle Joe
sure to fill an afternoon's woe.
The book for Auntie Flo
stories of sadness and joys to behold.
Home to Wrap
and secrets under paper to trap.
A cup of tea and mince pie
looking out the window, such a grey sky
for a holiday of many highs.
