Christmas 2007 Song – 11 Poem by Dr John Celes

Christmas 2007 Song – 11

Rating: 2.8

‘The Star of Bethlehem’

Appeared a star anew in East,
And brought three Magi to the West;
It meant the birth of great a king:
A rare phenomenon on earth!

On camel-back, the wise men came
To King Herod but knew his game;
The Star of Bethlehem stood still
O’er manger, where Jesus was born!

And Angel-choirs with trumpet sound
Sang, ‘Gloria, in excelsis deo! ’
New joy and peace was born on earth
Through baby boy ‘Emmanuel’s’ birth!

A savior had been born for men!
And all could surely reach heaven!
