Christingle Poem by Royston Allen

Christingle

As the candles were glowing and brightly burning
I was quietly praying and my heart was yearning
for that peace and love that only Jesus can bring
to flood into our great world all people reaching.

Then my soul was uplifted and began singing
because as the earth around its poles was spinning
God's light unfettered and unbound was revealing
Christ reaching out with His forgiveness and healing.
