Christ's Church Authority Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Christ's Church Authority

Authority has Christ's church now
On earth, His pending bride
Can bring demonic hoards to bow
Without breaking a stride

Though young, old, though strongest or least
A whisper, a word or two
Can devils thwart, hinder the beast
Of plans they think to do

Once knowing the truth, God is real
Climbing Salvation Hill
Once self humbly is brought to heel
Heaven, becomes our will

God is paramount, nothing's more
All is in Jesus hand
Life's ring, life's crown, keys to life's door
And to The Promised Land

First love each other as Jesus
Share neighbours, Heaven's plan
Even those, who may displease us
As would a perfect man

What's impossible, what's too much
According to God's will
With Christ's power, Christ's healing touch
Nothing one can't fulfil

So those who Jesus face now seek
Despite man sees us strange
However wicked, violent, meek
Truth one's tune can change

Let Jesus do all the changing
Be patent standing strong
However much rearranging
Forever you'll sing life's song.....
