A Fighter, revolutionist and soldier of peace
All your vigorous debates where like assegai
Your ready smile, as a companionship for presidency.

Your commitment to your family and the nation,
Shows by your death, not away from your house
You loved by many.
Respected by freedom fighters and presidents
Chris, Martin, Thembisile Hani
A comrade, a true leader, and national confidant

10 April 1993 is unforgivable,
It bought a death of prominent legend
We have been stroked in the wounds
So deeply, that the scars will remain forever.
You laid down your life.
For our aliment
In our heart, as in the heart of all,
You are irreplaceable.
Chris Hani, a father, a continuous legend

You had intensive exchange of ideas
So that we may know a freedom today, a freedom
There is no a greater sacrifice as yours.
You paid with your life.
The motive of you death is still unknown today
We all owe you,
To live freedom and liberty you died for.

It is was the passion of your life
