Choice Poem by Claude Simpson

Choice

The gut feeling is rising;
The inkling is encouraging;
The mind is selecting
Where thoughts are aligning.

Now I speak to the senses;
Selecting by reason or taste;
Making a decision;
Accepting or rejecting it.

This is life!
It is anchored on choices;
Decision is its foundation;
Merit is its outcome.

Whatever influences a choice;
May it be a driving force;
It calls for sobriety, selectivity
And much responsibility.

Whatever conclusion is taken,
It is a consensus of choice.
Life's path is based on choice;
The wonderful power in life.
