Chimp Chomp - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Chimp Chomp - Lincoln Park Zoo

I am a chimp and like to chomp
Stuff like a champ and not a chump,
At Lincoln Park Zoo where I romp.
Treat times are when I rev my rump
To grab the goodies quicker than
The rest of the chimpanzee troop,
Like the little engine that can,
I rush around in swoop and scoop.
As omnivore, I like a lot
In plant and animal menu.
But I know whatever I got,
I'll chew with gusto - and I do.

As a stalker of celery,
A two fisted chomper I be.
