Child Of Delight Poem by Panmelys

Child Of Delight

Rating: 4.5

For you small child of delight
with your wild wayward cries
this world I would remake

So that there you can betake
some honored place I fight
for you small child of delight

If only one life save
or turn away from hate
this world I would remake

Where your round eyes large as suns
lap at the seashore's sounds
for you small child of delight

I fiercely try to persuade
and think how I may shake
this world I would remake

With words that beg new faith
birth a miracle so bright
for you small child of delight
this wofld I would remake!

A child is a little bundle of delight and joy to its mum. A nice piece of poetry, thanks for sharing and merry Christmas. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
