Chico To Portland Poem by Joshua Bantum

Chico To Portland

Hidden desires creep like slate black spider legs across your spine
In this night I can feel you hide the shivers and shakes from me
But once I’ve left
And now you realized that you had the best
You squirm and the venom sticks in between your skins
You feel alone
As you start to drain
You call my name
But in the distance you can feel my train
Escape clouds
And the poring drought follows you
And leaves me.

nice poem, but the as you start to drain /...in the distance you can feel my train is a little awkward, looking for rhyme.... but overall, thank you
