Chewin' The Fat Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Chewin' The Fat

Whilst you sit around,
With your tea and mates,
Remember, please ~ for us
The hour is getting late.

While you sit around,
Enjoying your brew,
We have to wait
For our cup of tea too.

Why, while we wait patiently
For you deal with our query quickly,
Do you choose to take your break,
And leave us around to sit and wait?

It is annoying for us to see,
You with your mates, enjoying your tea,
We, also, have things to do,
But that is not known by the likes of you.

We have tasks to do,
Other that is, besides watching you,
Taking your break, Chewing the Fat,
Have you ever ~ considered that?
